There’s plenty for download this Friday on the PlayStation Network. Game wise, for $14.99 you can pick up the first episodic Ratchet & Clank Future title, Quest for booty. It’s 2.33 GB and continues the story laid out in Tools of Destruction. DLC wise there’s a special edition God of War character (i.e. Kratos) available in Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds. It costs $1.99 and we’re man enough to state that it’s cute. Still holding onto the ashes of Haze? The developers have released a free downloadable map pack consisting of four new maps and a new Capture and Hold mode. 3 Dragonforce tracks make up the $6.25 Guitar Hero III pack and there’s Devo, Duran Duran and The Janitors available for Rock Band. Finally there are demos for The Last Guy, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and NFL Head Coach 09. Usual trailers, themes and wallpapers are available. Be first to comment this article |

It’s all go in Leipzig. Sony announced during their press conference that PAL regions will be getting a new PS3 SKU. Priced approximately at 449 Euros, it’ll have a huge 160 GB hard drive for the influx of PSN titles and downloadable content. It’s an extremely lucrative deal as it only costs 50 more Euros than its 80 GB twin. This joins news of a Wireless Keypad for the PlayStation 3. It’ll snap onto controllers (like the 360 version) and will simplify text chat. It’s a welcome product especially with the social-fest; Home, edging closer and closer. While we’re Sony focused, enjoy the first footage of Heavy Rain below, courtesy of GameTrailers.com.

CVG have supposedly pried forth some information about Siren: Blood Curse. The episodic survival horror series is out on the PSN, but it’s in danger of consuming your hard-drive. There are 12 parts to the game and luckily Sony Europe revealed that the game’s coming to Europe on Blu-ray later this year. ‘Autumn’ is what’s currently pencilled in and it’s going to cost around the £20 mark. That’s pretty reasonable for a game that’s notching up plenty of positive scores. Be first to comment this article |
