Unless there is a total over haul in game play and visual appearance from the 2008 version its gonna be pants !!yet if they have started from scratch , bring it on.... fifa was brill for the first time in its history in 2008 i think konami took a bung personally .... live up to your name konami do us all proud, you ow your buyers big time after that rubbish last year.

Looking at those images, Im just wondering whether that it is the actual gameplay shots or just shots from a video...If it is gameplay then I would defo be happy!! Looks like they havent bothered changing the crowd in a way that they would wear the clubs jersey or even there colour!! little changes in the game can go a long way too....

I hope this game gets the series back on track. I have PES3, 4, 5, 6 and 2008 for PS2, I've played the PS3 PES2008 and it's shit, I couldn't believe what they'd done to it. Firstly they need more licences, I can still get every licence but for those who can't, it isn't fair. Secondly, the graphics look crap, FIFA 08 looks much better IMO, and lastly they need to fix the frame rate, both during gameplay and during replays, it isn't good enough. I'm now looking at FIFA, I bought FIFA 08 last week for PS3 and I love it. It's the last chance saloon for PES, otherwise I'll stick with FIFA.

The key point for me is not that I'll be instantly buying FIFA, but instead looking at both games and judging which is better.

Just hope they fix it on xbox live. I never get soo much lag on 1 game. I find it so infuriating the way it stutters a crucial moment only to see the opponent tapping the ball into the net.
