Unreal Tournament III may not have flown off the shelves but that hasn’t stopped Epic Games and Intel combining to offer $1,000,000 to the winner of this round’s Make Something Unreal Contest. When the contest was run for Unreal Tournament 2004, it was hugely successful with many competent entries, some of which (Red Orchestra) went on to become stand alone retail games. The SinBin lads are at it again with the freshly announced GTR Evolution which is due out in Q3 2008. The game can be bought as a standalone game or if you already own Race 07, then as an expansion pack for it. You’ll be able to race the Nurburgring ring with 22 cars spread across 3 classes. It will also include all the content from Race 07, which is 49 cars and 19 tracks. Carlo Voelker, the CEO of Viva Media commented: “PC Racing fans will be thrilled with extremely high standard of quality they will experience with this game. The bar for racing simulations has been pushed even higher by SimBin with this latest game in the GTR franchise. Also featured will be the GT series cars like the Corvette C6R and Aston Martin DBR9; plus Production Car Class racers like the Dodge Viper SRT/10 and the Audi R8.” For more information about Viva-Media’s products visit their official site. Ascaron released new gameplay details about their hack and slash RPG Hard to be a God. You’re sent from a future earth to the alien planet of Tsurinak where conveniently, they’re still stuck in the medieval ages. You can arm yourself with over 200 weapons ranging from swords, axes, bows and arrows to mini-guns, scorchers and modifiers. With a variety of weapons on show, the game transfers this depth to your enemies with over 350 unique characters to hack down. If you find yourself outnumbered then you’ll be able to jump on your faithful steed and ride off into the distance. Hard to be a God is out the 11th April and is on PC.
