![]() Deep Silver have released new details about its upcoming sequel to the successful PC title S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl. Set one year before the original, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky puts you in the shoes of Scar, a lone mercenary who enters the Zone before the explosion that sets the scene for the first game. Using a mix of first-person shooter and role-playing, Clear Sky sees you caught in the middle of a war between factions as they fight for control over the Zone’s many territories. As the player, you get to decide which faction you join in your quest for survival. The new title is expected to feature an improved AI, new levels, non-linear battles, new in-game features and scaled up graphics using DirectX 10 support. For those with a lower-spec PC, DirextX 8 and 9 are also compatible. S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky is due for release in late August. Enjoy the shots below.
