PC News - Day of Defeat: Source Gets Palermo Update

Valve have shown that their not one for abandoning their old games. Day of Defeat: Source has had a makeover in the form of the ‘Palermo Update’. The game has implemented ‘Steamworks’ bringing 51 achievements, player avatars (that are displayed in the scoreboard) and finally, detailed statistics that show up in your steam community page. On top of that is the inclusion of the TF2 “Nemesis / Revenge” camera and new particle effects for the engine. To get you playing, a new map has also been released; Palermo, a remixed version of the popular dod_salerno.
