According to this forum post (off of the official 2K forums), the activation limits for Bioshock (2007’s hit FPS) have been removed. You still have the register / activate the game online, but you’re no longer limited, allowing you to install it on as many machines as you like, legit CD-willing of course. Whether or not the original limitation helped stem the piracy of the product, we’ll never know but it’s a welcome relief for those that are genuine customers. This only applies to the PC version. This joins news today that Atari’s Alone in the Dark will feature Securom DRM, much to the disguist of the community.
