To get E3 off to a flying start, Nintendo have let loose details about a new add-on to the Wii remote. The accessory ‘Wii MotionPlus’ will make movement more accurate by reflecting motions in a 3D environment. By attaching it to the end of the Wii remote and combining it with the sensor bar/accelerometer, it will provide players with better tracking. The company claims that absolutely every movement by a player’s wrist or arm will be fully tracked in screen instantly. Considering the Wii remote is already impressive at mapping movements to screen actions, it will prove interesting to see a demonstration tomorrow when Nintendo holds its press conference.
