The Japanese developers Treasure have revealed that their puzzle game Bangai-O Spirits will be published in the UK on Nintendo DS in August. The game blends shooting and puzzle mechanics to recreate the classic 90’s game Bangai-O. There’s four player multiplayer across Wi-Fi, a level editor and an intriguing method of transferring data by ‘Sound Load. You’ll be able to transfer data using sound and the DS microphone which is then interpreted by the recipient DS. Interesting new technology or useless gimmick, we’ll make up our minds when it arises.
