We've got some exciting news here at Avid Gamer, concerning several feature upgrades.
The first concerns our featured content slideshow on the front page. We've reworked the interface to provide you with more information, and a nicer transition effect. We hope you enjoy it and that it allows for easier navigation around the website.
Secondly is the introduction of a new galley feature for all our images. They'll now take up less space, and can be expanded to be viewed full screen. This means newer, higher res images, but less space. The media page will remain as it is (as will every article previous to this post) but future media posts will be presented in gallery form. Again we hope it'll improve the site allowing for better content.

The comment system has also been reworked, with a new system implemented. Leave us one here to tell us what you think of the upgrades. (Sadly it means previous comments were deleted.)
UPDATE: More exciting news, we've sorted our on-site video streaming and will be presenting the latest video game trailers. Expect the latest trailer for Gears of War 2 within the hour.
