Since the merger of Activision-Blizzard, nothing really has changed. The general populace are unlikely aware of the deal even being struck. A small indication of the business partnership comes today in the form of a crossover. Activision’s Guitar Hero III is getting a free downloadable track in the form of ‘I am Murlock’ which debuted at BlizzCon 2005. The track will be downloadable on the 26^th of June for both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. It’s clever marketing as it coincides with Blizzard’s worldwide event on the 28 / 29^th June.
