News - TF2 Pyro Update Goes Live

Nine Months after release and there’s no indication that Valve will be slowing up their support of Team Fortress 2. They’ve launched a blog to keep the community updated on the update process. It can be found here but only has one entry. The creation of the blog coincides with the release of the Pyro Update. In the update are new weapons and achievements for the Pyro Class. The unlockables include the Flare Gun, The Backburner (a new flame thrower) and the Axtinguisher (an updated axe). There are 35 achievements to collect ranging in difficulty. On top of that are two community maps which have been added to the official roster. There’s a control point and a capture the flag so a nice inclusion of variety.
