There has been plenty of speculation about Splinter Cell: Conviction’s supposed ‘back-to-the-drawing-board’ status. Ubisoft Montreal has finally filled in the blanks with the announcement that the latest game in the popular stealth series has been officially pushed back to 2009-2010. The publisher didn’t mention the Conviction sub-title, suggesting that it has indeed gone back to the design phase. If anything else breaks, expect it here.
