Yesterday (the 7^th May) revealed some exciting news from the guys at ID Software. It seems that after a rest from making Quake 4, they’ve begun production on the fourth Doom game. The game promises to bring us the next journey into the Doom universe and have started to expand their internal team to begin work on the game. Todd Hollenshead, the CEO of ID Software said;

“DOOM is part of the id Software DNA and demands the greatest talent and brightest minds in the industry to bring the next installement of our flagship franchise to Earth, it’s critical for id Software to have the best creative minds in-house to develop games that meet the standards synonymous with our titles.”
