The lacklustre summer period finally caught up with us. Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, Beijing 2008, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Wii Play, Carnival: Funfair Games and Big Beach Sports take up the top seven places. Brain Training, Wall-E follow with Guitar Hero 3 and Guitar Hero: On Tour making it to number eleven. The only new release is Summer Athletics which is hardly surprising considering Olympic fever. SoulCalibur IV drops to number fourteen while GTAIV, Call of Duty 4 and Fifa 08 take advantage of the reduced release schedule.
