Good and bad news for those that are waiting on Funcom’s Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. The action orientated MMO has been given eight more weeks of development time. That means a longer wait, but also means it’ll be more polished when it launches on the 20th May 2008. This will give the developers time to act on the feedback given from the beta testing; such as improving the newcomer experience and creating a more involving character progression system. Gaute Godager, the Producer and Game Director on Age of Conan said: “The companies standing apart in the gaming market today are those with a relentless drive to achieve quality. Even though we regret delaying the launch, I am certain we made the right choice. I hope that our followers and fans will support out decision, and respect our commitments to quality.”
