With yesterday’s finalisation of the merger between Activision and Blizzard, it seems Activision Blizzard are willing to add more talent to its team. Expert Mike Hickey suggested that the company would try to outbid rival EA in order to acquire Take two.

"If a competitor is for sale, you take a look, and if EA is your real rival, why wouldn’t you stir the pot a little bit?"

There are others, like Ben Schachter (of UBS Securities) who believes the company is more focused on establishing strategies for its future. In the meantime, EA has extended its offer of 25.74 dollars per share to acquire Take Two [until the 21^st August.]
