It seems that BioWare aren’t done teasing gamers. Last week we reported that they thought a console MMO had potential. This week it concerns the Dragon Age website. It’s been updated with a simple graphic stating “More July 9, 2008.” So far BioWare have kept any information about Dragon Age under wraps. It’s been touted as a spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate. We’ve been told it should arrive before April 2009, but that’s all. Hopefully the 9th will yield some information. Be first to comment this article |

The seventh of July marks ‘Bungie Day’ and with it comes some Halo related treats. A fourth of July theme playlist can be found online until the seventh July. Playing the playlist will earn you double XP for the duration. You’ll be able to play against the Bungie team between the seventh and ninth of July Content wise is a collection of 7 gamerpics, a new theme and the Cold Storage map (originally seen in Halo [1]) all available for download free. Finally, the Legendary map pack sees a points reduction to 600. This all comes to an end with a “Fiesta-double XP” weekend between the tenth and fourteenth of July. It’ll be an explosive start to July for Halo players across the world. Be first to comment this article |

Sony have shown that their 2.40 bother hasn’t affected their weekly Playstation Network update. Highlights include the second issue of Qore, their ($2.99 per issue) look inside the PS3’s games (which we have the trailer for below), some new Rock Band songs and a Guitar Hero III free ‘Fourth of July’ song. There’s a load of free trailers to watch (but we had them first), and a Top Spin 3 Wallpaper. A fair amount of swag, but nothing compared to what 2.40 should have brought. Europeans can grab a demo of Space Invaders Extreme on the PSP or get Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 for £6.99. For a full list head on over to the PSBlog and check this week’s Qore content below. Comments (2) |
