We previewed Imperium Romanum a while back and came to the conclusion that it was a title worthy of purchase, but little people would actually do that. That hasn’t stopped Kalypso Media developing the expansion of the Emperor Expansion. There are 16 new missions that span ancient Europe from Bath to Hadrian’s Wall. There are new buildings, larger maps, new tasks and improved voice samples. It’s only £14.99 and it’s due at the end of July. Enjoy the four screenshots below. Be first to comment this article |

Sorry for the day’s delay, but we were at 505 Games’ Summer Showcase. Super Smash Bros: Brawl holds onto the top spot for the second week running, managing to hold of Battlefield: Bad Company who can only manage number two. Big Beach Sports occupies number four despite our damning review and Beijing 2008 moves from nine to five. There are only two new entries this week as we approach the summer lull. Kung Fu Panda joins the fight at number sixteen and Unreal Tournament III profits from its Xbox 360 release to re-enter the charts at number eighteen. Call of Duty 4 hangs on in at number nineteen and Cooking Guide somehow manages number twenty. Be first to comment this article |

If you shelled out for Rock Band despite its extortionate price, then you’re also probably buying the downloadable songs. 'Working Man (Vault Edition)' and 'Closer to the Heart' are thanks to the band Rush, while Tell Me Baby and Snow (Hey Oh), are courtesy of the mighty Red Hot Chili Peppers. Each song is 160 Microsoft points and aren’t available in Australia, Asia or New Zealand. If you can’t bring yourself to shell out on the above songs, try Promised Land from Vesuvius which is available for free. Be first to comment this article |

It seems as though we were right. We had some informed speculation on the site yesterday about Firmware 2.41. Sony customer support reckoned it would be along “mid-week” to fix those problems with the botched 2.40 update. That speculation turned out to be true today with Sony releasing 2.41 to the public. Straight from the horse’s mouth. All you have to do to update is log on to the PSN. Be first to comment this article |
