We’re not often those interested in software but 15 minutes ago Firefox 3 (the final candidate) went live. The server is currently down, but we managed to grab the exe and have it for download. There are over 15,000 improvements to speed and security. It’s our choice of browser and it should be yours as well. Grab the install below at 6.99megs (windows only). Be sure to grab the correct download. While there are Linux and Mac versions available, we're not hosting them as the official server should calm down soon enough.
UPDATE - Those who downloaded the file when we went live most likely got RC3. The link was fixed within 5 minutes, and we're very sorry for any problems. Serves you right for being so quick off the draw. All is well! Get downloading. Good news for those playing Grid. Codemasters are quick off the mark to release a multi-platform patch which we’ve got for download. It’s fairly hefty at 188megs and has a huge change log which can be seen below, although not all the changes apply to the PC version. Hit the link below to update to version 1.1. Also please note that this is for retail copies only, Direct2Drive, Metaboli or Steam versions will be along shortly.
