Nintendo platforms for children? For families? Mad World suggests that the Wii is attempting to shed that image and it seems that the DS is as well. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will take place in Liberty City (again) exclusively on the Nintendo DS. It’s pencilled in for a holiday release around the world and will let players delve into an “epic tale of crime and corruption.” Sam Houser, the founder of Rockstar said:

“This is a game that will deliver a rich, fast paced and intense ‘Grand Theft Auto’ experience that will truly be unique to Nintendo’s handheld platform. Rockstar Leeds, along with the team at Rockstar North, has built upon a decade of progressive design on Grand Theft Auto, and has created something fundamentally fresh and immersive.”
